  • on going coverage, two weeks per month 
• Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 8a-4p two weeks per month. Ideal schedule would be 1st and 3rd week of the month or 2nd and 4th week of the month.
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Duties: Reading studies of all modalities in addition to diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies 
• Required Procedures: Read Mammo, PET and perform breast biopsies 
• Support Staff: Radiology techs, US techs, other support staff
• Types of cases:
  • Average monthly volumes are below. They have a radiologist on site for mammography 3 days/week.
  • Procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc): 13
  • Screening Mammos: 225
  • Diagnostic Mammograms: 30
• Types of Reads:
  • For IR doc, Procedures (basic procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, drains, intro, abdominal drains, suprapubic catheters, nephrostomy tubes, etc)
  • Mainly need them for mammography and breast biopsies. If able to read PET, that would be great appreciated in addition to any other studies (CT’s, X-rays, Ultrasounds, MRI’s)
• They would be asked to read during the day from the list of radiology studies from the emergency department and inpatient.
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days

• Active unrestricted CA License
• Active AHA ACLS & BLS certifications
• MQSA Certification
• Active DEA
• Board Certified
• Full-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted.
• Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
