Job Details:

• Pay: $150 Hr.
• In need of 6 days of call coverage per month
• Actively delivering babies (must submit case logs for past 24 months)
• Provider will round on patients, on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
• Provider also available for any emergent GYN procedures.
• High risk deliveries will only be emergent (no NICU at our facility).
• High risk transfers for NICU 30-45 mins.
• Required Skills: Low risk pregnancy, Routine delivery (Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section), Complicated delivery (C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's) Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation (Level I/Screening (viability), Level II/Targeted (anatomic), Surgical gynecology – Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's, Laser certification
• Preferred: FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
• Hospitalist support staff, 24/7 on call Anesthesiology support, 24/7 on call Radiology support, Average 27 deliveries monthly with average of 11 C-Sections, 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum, census is typically 1-3 deliveries/24 hr period.
• EMR: MediTech 6.1
• Credentialing timeframe: 2 weeks

• Active unrestricted NC License
• Active DEA
• Active AHA ACLS, BLS & PALS certifications
• NC Medicaid and Medicare
• Board Certified
• Full-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted.
• Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
• Clean Malpractice/Background
