Job Details:

• Coverage: Ongoing

• Shift: M-Th 7:00 AM-5:30PM with night call then 24hr remote call coverage Fri-Sun 

• Duties: All aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients

• MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services.  Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments

• EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)

• Support Staff: 1- clinic RN, 2-MAs, 2-front office clerks, 1-quality analyst/billing, and 3 infusions RNs

• Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days

• Credentialing with other facilities? No 

• Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No 

• Average daily census: 15-21 patients Mon-Thurs with 3/4 of appointments going on the MD schedule.10 patients per day, 1-2 being new Current call coverage: 24/7 each week with around 5 calls per day7 infusion chairs

Requirements:

• Active Unrestricted CA License

• Board Certified - Oncology AND Hematology preferred

• BLS by American Heart Association - required

• Other Certifications – CA DEA, ACLS - Required during credentialing 

• Availability at time of name clear – Required

• Residency Requirements/Fellowship – Medical Oncology Fellowship - Required

• Must have at least 2 years experience

• Clean Malpractice

• Clean Background
