Job Details:
- Coverage: Ongoing
- Specialty: MD/DO OBGYN
- Positions open: 1
- Job Setting: Inpatient
- MD/DO Inpatient, Outpatient
- Department Shift Schedule: 24hr call; 8A-8A
- Call Schedule and Call Responsibilities: 1 - 2 weekends/month. Providers will work 24hrs starting Saturday and ending Monday morning
- EMR system: Epic
- OBGYN are required to round
- After the providers round and complete all that is needed they can leave but need to be at most 30 mins away
- Types of Cases: 1 – 2 admissions, deliveries, urgent/emergent surgeries
- Patient Encounters per shift: 1 – 2 admissions, deliveries, urgent/emergent surgeries
- How many calls do they typically get in 24hrs? 1-2
- How many deliveries do they typically get in 24hrs? 5-10
- Available support staff: Hospital RN staff
- Must be able to handle babies 35 weeks and up, so not a NICU but a level 1 nursery
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 Days
Requirements:
- Active Unrestricted MN License – required
- Board Certified OBGYN
- Must have clean malpractice
