Summary: In-house OB/GYN coverage, primarily for no-doc patients who present to, or were admitted from, our ED. Emergency management of patients already on the unit if being managed by a community OB/Gyn.

Shift times: 7am to 7pm - HIGHLY NEEDED AND WILL BE PRIORITIZED 7pm to 7am7am to 7am

Setting: Inpatient

FTE: 1.0

Duties: Labor and Delivery, Gyn consultations and management of Gyn emergencies.

Required Procedures: C-section, hysterectomy, ovarian detorsion, amongst others

EMR: Cerner

Support Staff: Unit RNs, Anesthesia

Reason for Coverage: Incomplete OB Hospitalist program staffing

Credentialing Information:

Timeframe: At least one week for emergency privileges
